GreystoneRovers have travelled to Norway around l5 times between 1951 and 1988 and have won the following cups in the local Youth League: The Rotary Cup The Ryedale Cup The Wallace Cup The Jackson Cup The Youth League Cup The Caledonian Cup The Octocentenary Cup and were first winners of the Tony Pierog Shield for Sportsmanship when participating in the Amateur League of 1968. Other achievements by the club include: Semi finals of the under 16 Scottish Cup. 1975 Winners of the Cowal International Youth Tournement. 1979 Third in the same Tournament. 1982 Beaten finalists in the Ayr International Youth Tournament. 1988 Reached the semi finals of the same event. On the clubs trips abroad there have been around 400 boys over the years made the trip. The Norwegian clubs with whom Creystone have strong links have been Sports Club Brann, from Bergen, also Sports Club Haugar and AKRA IL. and GUGARD IL. Greystone has also hosted teams from America and Denmark. 1938-39: Played friendly games in and around Dumfries. Joined Dumfries Juvenile League. Joined Southern Countries Juvenile League. 1946-47-48:Played as Nithsdale Wanderers in South of Scotland League. 1949-56:Members of Dumfries and District Secondary Juvenile League. 1956-58:Joined South of Scotland League and Southern Counties Football Association. 1959-67:Members of Dumfries Youth Football League. 1967-69:Members of Dumfries Amateur League. 1970-88:Members of Dumfries and District Youth Football League.
